antitourism
Against mass visitors
Antitourism is opposition to tourism or its effects on a place.
The stance may arise from concerns about overcrowding, rising costs, environmental damage, or cultural erosion in popular destinations: Barcelona has seen antitourism protests as locals feel pushed out by visitors.
The term can also describe deliberate efforts to discourage tourists from coming.
