antilogs
Powers from exponents
Antilogs is the plural of antilog, short for antilogarithm—the number that corresponds to a given logarithm.
If the logarithm of 100 is 2, then the antilog of 2 is 100.
The operation reverses what a logarithm does: Use the table to find the antilogs.
Before calculators, students looked up antilogs in printed tables to convert logarithmic calculations back to ordinary numbers.
