annual convention
Once-yearly organizational meeting
An annual convention is a formal gathering held once a year, typically by an organization, profession, or interest group.
Members convene to conduct business, share information, network, and attend presentations: The annual convention draws thousands of attendees to a different city each year.
Political parties hold annual conventions to set agendas and nominate candidates.
