afferent arteriole
Glomerulus supply tube
An afferent arteriole is the small blood vessel that carries blood into a nephron's glomerulus in the kidney.
Blood enters through the afferent arteriole, gets filtered in the glomerulus, then exits through the efferent arteriole.
The diameter of afferent arterioles helps regulate blood pressure and filtration rate in the kidneys.
