adult fiction

Adult fiction is literature written for mature readers, as distinguished from children's or young adult books.

The term typically appears in library classification and publishing contexts: The novel was shelved in adult fiction.

Despite the name, it doesn't necessarily mean sexually explicit content—that's usually called erotica or erotic fiction.
