Windows 3.1
Pre-95 operating system
Windows 3.1 was a version of Microsoft's operating system released in 1992, introducing the graphical interface that brought personal computing to mainstream users.
It ran on top of MS-DOS and featured Program Manager, File Manager, and TrueType fonts.
For many people, Windows 3.1 was their first experience with clicking icons and dragging windows—the beginning of computing as most now know it.
