Weird Al
Famous musical satirist
Weird Al is the stage name of Alfred Yankovic, an American musician known for comic parody songs and accordion-driven polka medleys.
Since the 1980s, he has made a career of rewriting popular hits with humorous lyrics—"Eat It" for Michael Jackson's "Beat It," "Amish Paradise" for Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise." The name itself plays on the convention of blues and jazz nicknames while acknowledging his unconventional approach to pop music.
