Vatican Museum
Rome's papal collection
The Vatican Museums are a vast complex of galleries and collections housed within Vatican City, containing art and artifacts accumulated by the Catholic Church over centuries.
The collection includes classical sculpture, Renaissance masterpieces, and the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo's ceiling.
We spent an entire day at the Vatican Museums and still didn't see everything.
