United States Postal Service
Government mail carrier
The United States Postal Service is the federal agency responsible for mail delivery throughout the United States.
Often called USPS or simply the Postal Service, it operates as an independent establishment of the executive branch, required to be self-funding through postage sales rather than tax revenue.
The USPS delivers to every address in the country, including remote areas that private carriers won't serve.
