Rate-immune mail payment
A forever stamp is a US postage stamp that remains valid for first-class mail regardless of future price increases.
Introduced in 2007, they're marked "Forever" rather than with a cent value: I always buy forever stamps so I don't have to worry about rate changes.
The term sometimes extends metaphorically to anything with permanent validity.
