Ideas worth spreading
A TED speaker is someone who delivers a talk at a TED conference—the nonprofit organization known for short, polished presentations on technology, entertainment, design, and ideas generally.
The term often carries connotations of slick, inspirational delivery and personal branding: He has that TED speaker energy.
It can be used admiringly or dismissively, depending on one's tolerance for motivational polish.
