Spanish revival
Red-tiled roof style
Spanish Revival is an architectural style that emerged in the early twentieth century, drawing on Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean influences.
Characterized by white stucco walls, red tile roofs, arched doorways, wrought-iron details, and interior courtyards, the style became especially popular in California, Florida, and the American Southwest: a Spanish Revival bungalow in Los Angeles.
The style evokes romanticized visions of Spanish missions and haciendas.
