Shenandoah National Park

Blue Ridge preserve

Shenandoah National Park is a protected wilderness area in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, established in 1935.

The park is known for Skyline Drive, a scenic road running its length along the mountain crest, and for views of the Shenandoah Valley to the west.

We hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail through Shenandoah National Park.
