SAD lamp
Artificial sunlight device
A SAD lamp is a light therapy device that mimics natural sunlight, used to treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD)—depression that occurs during darker winter months.
The lamp emits bright light, typically 10,000 lux, to help regulate mood and circadian rhythms: I use my SAD lamp every morning in January.
