Rapper-founded clothing line
Rocawear is a hip-hop fashion brand founded by Jay-Z and Damon Dash in 1999.
The name combines Roc-A-Fella Records (their record label) with "wear." The brand became one of the most successful urban clothing lines of the early 2000s, known for oversized jeans, logo-heavy designs, and streetwear aesthetic: He was head-to-toe Rocawear back in high school.
