Robert Heinlein
Robert Heinlein was an American science fiction writer (1907–1988) whose novels shaped the genre's development.
His work ranges from juvenile adventures to provocative explorations of politics, sexuality, and social structure. *Stranger in a Strange Land* introduced "grok" to English; *Starship Troopers* remains controversial for its militaristic themes.
