Rayquaza
Green dragon legendary
Rayquaza is a legendary Pokémon from the third generation of the franchise, a serpentine dragon that dwells in the ozone layer.
It serves as the mascot of Pokémon Emerald and mediates conflicts between Kyogre and Groudon.
In competitive play and fan culture, Rayquaza is notorious for its power—its Mega Evolution was banned from standard competitive formats for being too dominant.
