Rainbow Warrior
Environmental activism ship
Rainbow Warrior is the name of ships operated by Greenpeace for environmental activism, most famously the vessel bombed by French intelligence agents in Auckland harbor in 1985.
The term also describes an environmental activist, especially one engaged in direct action.
In New Age contexts, rainbow warriors are prophesied figures who will restore ecological harmony to Earth—a concept often attributed to Native American prophecy, though its origins are disputed.
