O-level
Secondary school test
O-level is a British secondary school examination typically taken at age sixteen, part of the General Certificate of Education system.
O-levels tested students in individual subjects—mathematics, English, history, sciences—with results graded A through E.
The qualification was phased out in England and Wales in the 1980s, replaced by GCSEs, but the term persists in some Commonwealth countries.
She got eight O-levels.
