AS-level
Pre-university British exam
AS-level is a British qualification typically taken at age 17, halfway through the two-year A-level course.
Originally the first year of A-levels that contributed to the final grade, AS-levels now function as standalone qualifications in most subjects: She got three As at AS-level.
Students often take more AS-levels than they continue to full A-level.
