Mega Man X
Reploid action star
Mega Man X is a 1993 action platformer video game for the Super Nintendo, and the character who stars in it.
The game launched a spinoff series from the original Mega Man franchise, set in a darker future with more mature themes.
X is an advanced robot—a "Reploid"—who battles rogue machines called Mavericks.
The series is known for tight controls, challenging gameplay, and the ability to acquire defeated bosses' weapons: I finally beat Mega Man X without using any subtanks.
