LG Electronics is a South Korean multinational corporation and one of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer electronics, appliances, and mobile devices.
The company produces televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and smartphones, among other products.
LG is known for innovations in display technology, particularly OLED screens.
The name derives from the merger of two Korean companies, Lucky and GoldStar, though the company now markets the initials with the slogan "Life's Good."
