Infinity Gauntlet
Gem-studded power glove
The Infinity Gauntlet is a powerful glove from Marvel Comics that holds six Infinity Stones, each controlling a fundamental aspect of existence: space, time, reality, power, mind, and soul.
When assembled, it grants the wearer godlike omnipotence.
The gauntlet became widely known through the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, where Thanos uses it to eliminate half of all life: He snapped his fingers while wearing the Infinity Gauntlet.
Figuratively, acquiring an infinity gauntlet suggests gaining overwhelming, world-altering power.
