Glee

Musical high schoolers

Glee is a feeling of lively delight or triumph, often with a hint of mischief: She couldn't hide her glee when her rival stumbled.

The word suggests visible, almost childlike pleasure—someone experiencing glee might clap their hands or laugh aloud.

Glee also refers to an unaccompanied part-song for three or more voices, once popular in English musical clubs.
