Gianni Versace
Gianni Versace was an Italian fashion designer who founded the luxury brand Versace in 1978.
His designs were known for bold colors, baroque prints, and celebrity appeal.
He was murdered outside his Miami Beach mansion in 1997.
The name now typically refers to the fashion house he created: She wore Versace to the Oscars.
