European holiday bazaar
A German market is an outdoor Christmas market featuring traditional German goods, food, and drink—typically mulled wine (Glühwein), bratwurst, and handcrafted ornaments.
The term applies both to markets in Germany and to German-style markets held elsewhere: The Birmingham German market runs through December.
Also called a Christmas market or Christkindlmarkt.
