G-string
Fourth on guitar
A G-string is a minimal undergarment covering only the genitals, held by a string between the buttocks—worn by strippers, in certain swimwear, or as provocative lingerie: The dancer stripped down to a G-string.
Also the name of the lowest string on a violin or similar instrument, tuned to G: The melody begins on the G-string.
Both capitalizations are standard. (Lowercase g-string is the same word.)
