Frank Ocean
"Nostalgia, Ultra" creator
Frank Ocean is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer known for introspective R&B that blends soul, hip-hop, and electronic textures.
His albums *Channel Orange* (2012) and *Blonde* (2016) are considered landmarks of contemporary music.
Ocean's public acknowledgment of relationships with men made him one of the first openly queer figures in mainstream hip-hop and R&B.
His reclusive approach to publicity and long gaps between releases have become part of his mystique.
