Edwardian homes
Early 1900s houses
Edwardian homes are houses built during or in the style of Britain's Edwardian era (1901–1910), the reign of King Edward VII.
They typically feature high ceilings, large windows, front porches, and decorative woodwork—lighter and less ornate than Victorian predecessors.
The term applies broadly to early 20th-century residential architecture in Britain, Australia, and other Commonwealth countries: The neighborhood is full of beautifully restored Edwardian homes.
