D sharp
E-flat's other name
D sharp is a musical note one semitone above D.
In standard tuning, it's enharmonically equivalent to E flat—the same pitch with a different name, chosen based on the key signature or harmonic context.
D sharp major and D sharp minor are rarely used keys because of their many accidentals; composers typically prefer E flat instead.
