Cabbage Patch
Soft-sculptured toy line
A cabbage patch is a garden plot where cabbages grow.
The term gained cultural currency from Cabbage Patch Kids, a line of soft dolls popular in the 1980s, each with a unique face and adoption certificate—their origin story had them sprouting from cabbage patches.
