Blue Man Group
Painted percussion trio
Blue Man Group is a performance art troupe featuring bald, silent characters covered in bright blue makeup.
Their shows combine percussion, comedy, and multimedia spectacle, often involving audience participation and unconventional instruments made from PVC pipes.
Founded in 1987, the group became known for long-running theatrical residencies in cities like Las Vegas and New York: We caught Blue Man Group while we were in town.
