August 15
Summer month's midpoint
August 15 is the fifteenth day of August, falling in late summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
It marks several notable observances: the Feast of the Assumption in Catholic tradition, Victory over Japan Day commemorating the end of World War II, and Independence Day in India and South Korea.
We're planning the reunion for August 15.
