The Croods
The Croods is a 2013 animated film about a prehistoric family of cave dwellers who must venture into an unfamiliar world when their cave is destroyed.
The title became shorthand for any family that seems comically primitive or resistant to change: My parents won't get smartphones—they're like the Croods.
