Rocky II
Stallone's first sequel
Rocky II is the 1979 sequel to the Academy Award–winning film Rocky, continuing the story of boxer Rocky Balboa.
Like other numbered sequels, it signals a direct continuation rather than a reboot or spinoff: I liked the first one better than Rocky II.
The Roman numeral styling follows film franchise conventions established in the sequel era.
