American Music Award

Fan-voted music prize

An American Music Award is a prize given annually at a ceremony honoring popular music artists in the United States.

Unlike the Grammys, which are voted on by industry professionals, American Music Awards are determined by fan voting and streaming data.

Winners receive a distinctive gold statuette: She took home three American Music Awards that night.
