ATM fee

Cash access cost

An ATM fee is a charge imposed when you use an automated teller machine, especially one outside your bank's network.

The fee may come from the ATM operator, your own bank, or both: I got hit with a $3 ATM fee just to withdraw twenty bucks.

These fees add up quickly for people who don't plan their cash withdrawals.
