8am
Rush hour time
8am (also 8 a.m. or 8 AM) is eight o'clock in the morning—the hour when many workdays and school days begin.
It marks a conventional boundary between early morning and the regular day: The meeting starts at 8am.
For night owls, 8am feels painfully early; for early risers, half the morning is already gone.
