2D barcode
Pixelated data matrix
A 2D barcode encodes information in two dimensions—both horizontally and vertically—rather than in a single row of lines like traditional barcodes.
This allows far more data in a smaller space.
QR codes are the most familiar type: Scan the 2D barcode with your phone's camera.
Also called matrix barcodes.
