zombie comedy
Humorous corpse film
A zombie comedy—often shortened to zom-com—is a film or other work that blends zombie horror with humor.
The genre plays the shambling undead for laughs rather than pure scares, mining comedy from survival scenarios, gore, and the absurdity of apocalypse: Shaun of the Dead is the definitive zombie comedy.
The tone ranges from slapstick to dark satire.
