younger
Not as old
Younger is the comparative form of young, describing someone or something less old than another: my younger sister, the younger generation.
As a noun, younger often appears in the plural to mean children or youth collectively: The youngers don't remember life before smartphones.
In naming, younger distinguishes a child from a parent with the same name, less formally than Junior.
