working from home
Office-free job arrangement
Working from home is performing one's job from a residence rather than commuting to an office or workplace.
The practice became widespread during the COVID-19 pandemic and remains common in many industries: I've been working from home three days a week.
Often shortened to WFH.
The phrase functions as both a description of activity and an employment arrangement.
