white stuff

White stuff is an informal, deliberately vague term for any pale or whitish substance, with meaning entirely dependent on context.

It most commonly refers to snow We got three inches of the white stuff overnight, but can also mean cocaine, semen, or various mundane substances like mayonnaise, cream, or toothpaste.

The phrase functions as a casual placeholder when the speaker assumes the listener knows what's meant, or when avoiding a more explicit term.
