wet mop
Soaked cleaning tool
A wet mop is a mop used with water or cleaning solution, as opposed to a dry mop or dust mop.
The term distinguishes mops meant for scrubbing floors from those meant for sweeping up dust and debris.
As a verb, to wet-mop is to clean a floor this way: I need to wet-mop the kitchen before the guests arrive.
