urban exploring
Trespassing for photography
Urban exploring is the hobby of entering and investigating abandoned, restricted, or hidden man-made spaces—factories, tunnels, rooftops, storm drains, derelict hospitals.
Practitioners seek the thrill of trespass and the aesthetic of decay.
Also called urbex or UE.
We spent the weekend urban exploring an old asylum outside the city.
