unsettledness
State of flux
Unsettledness is the state of being unsettled—lacking stability, resolution, or calm.
It describes conditions that remain unresolved or in flux: the unsettledness of the political situation, a feeling of unsettledness after the move.
The word applies equally to external circumstances and internal states of mind.
