Unaged describes something that has not been allowed to age or mature, most commonly used for spirits, wines, or cheeses that are sold without the extended storage period that develops deeper flavors.
Unaged whiskey has a sharper, more raw taste than its barrel-aged counterpart.
The term can also describe a person whose age hasn't been determined or recorded, as in demographic data or historical records.
