two-to-one
Favorite's betting line
Two-to-one describes a ratio where one quantity is twice another.
In betting, two-to-one odds mean a winning bet pays double the stake: The horse went off at two-to-one.
The phrase also characterizes any 2:1 relationship—votes, advantages, or proportions: They outnumbered us two-to-one.
Sometimes used as an adverb expressing likelihood: I'd bet two-to-one she doesn't show up.
