tookus

Where you sit

Tookus is a slang term for the buttocks, borrowed from Yiddish.

It's informal and mildly humorous rather than vulgar: Get off your tookus and help me, She slipped and landed right on her tookus.

Also spelled tuchus, tuchas, or toches.
