ton-up

Three digits speeding

Ton-up is British slang for reaching or exceeding 100, originally 100 miles per hour on a motorcycle.

A ton-up boy was a 1960s motorcyclist who pursued high speeds on British roads: He was a ton-up rider in his youth.

The term extends to other contexts where 100 is a milestone: She celebrated her ton-up birthday.
